Bus travel to the Arvenbüel

treat your travel group to a culinary break in the Arvenbüel restaurant

After a scenic drive from Weesen to Amden-Arvenbüel on the well-maintained mountain road with breath-taking panoramic views of the Glarus and St. Gallen Alps and the Lake (Walensee), you reach the sunny Arvenbüel plateau at 1,256 metres above sea level about 10 km after the Weesen freeway exit. Here, a friendly crew welcomes you and treats you to homemade culinary delicacies.

How about a juicy roast from the charcoal grill, for example? Do you already know our house speciality, the homemade plum cake with nut shortcrust pastry, for which we process over a ton of plums every year?

Let us inspire you with our lunch and snack suggestions:

Each plate is served and garnished separately. We serve smaller portions and provide follow-up service afterwards, so that no one has to leave the table hungry. Thanks to our many years of experience, we are well organised and can guarantee that everything runs smoothly.

We were their guests with our seniors. The friendly welcome was surprising for us and we felt very welcome. A big compliment to their service staff. A friendly, motivated and well-rehearsed team served us to our complete satisfaction. We never felt surrounded by hectic and stress. The fine, lovingly prepared food was also very well received by the seniors. And the golden crown at the end: in the pouring rain we were all waved goodbye.

Where else can you find such friendly hosts as we experienced with them? We will be very happy to recommend the Arvenbüel to others. Many thanks.
